With our base in Tarime, Tanzania, dedicated local staff, and our incredible volunteers in Australia, we are not afraid to get our hands dirty.
We’re working alongside educators, healthcare staff and local government to build wells, schools, create new business opportunities and educate and empower the people of Tanzania.
Your generosity will support a range of programs to help the people of Tarime live a full life.
When you donate to Care for Africa, your money goes straight to the people of Tarime, Tanzania – not administration, not overheads. A $10 donation buys a menstrual kit so a girl can stay in school. A $20 donation feeds two children for a year. A $500 donation feeds 50 children. Every dollar creates a ripple of change that extends far beyond what you might imagine.

The people of Tarime live in extreme poverty without reliable access to clean water, food, education or healthcare. But with your support, that is changing. We have delivered millions of serves of breakfast to primary school children, installed deep water bores providing clean drinking water to over 32,000 people, and empowered women through enterprise programs that build lasting financial independence.
There’s a food crisis in Africa and water is scarce. Because children are hungry, they are tired and often don’t make the long walk to school each day.
People are barely able to exist and are caught in a terrible, never-ending cycle.
Join us to bring about change. Share our stories, our wins, our frustrations, our progress and become part of our incredible journey.
Whether you give once or choose to give monthly, every contribution helps break the never-ending cycle of poverty – one family, one school, one community at a time.
It is the voice of the people and the ear that listens which enables change. Thank you for listening.
