These terms set out the rules for using our website at careforafrica.org.au. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Care for Africa is an Australian not-for-profit organisation, registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient.

We work with communities in the Tarime District of Tanzania on clean water, health, education and economic wellbeing. This website tells you about that work, how to get involved and how to support it.
We are a signatory to the ACFID Code of Conduct.
Your age. You need to be 18 or over to make a donation. If you are under 18, please use the site with a parent or guardian.
Our content. Everything on this site is for information. We update and change it as the work changes, and we may do that without notice.
What you must not do. Please do not use this site in a way that breaks the law, infringes anyone’s rights, or interferes with how the site works for other people.
Donations are voluntary. Every donation supports our programs and operations in Tanzania.
How payments are handled. Donations are processed by secure third-party payment providers. Care for Africa does not see or store your card details.
Tax deductibility. Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible in Australia. You will receive a receipt for every donation. If you need a replacement receipt, email us at info@careforafrica.org.au.
Regular giving. You can set up a monthly donation and you can stop it at any time. Email us at info@careforafrica.org.au or use the link in your donation receipt, and we will cancel it. If a payment has already been taken when you contact us, tell us and we will look at refunding it.
Refunds. Donations are generally not refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, was charged twice, or was made using your card without your permission, contact us at info@careforafrica.org.au and we will review it. We will always refund a donation made with a card that has been reported as used fraudulently.
Donations given for a specific purpose. [SEE NOTE BELOW: PENDING DIANA AND THE BOARD]
Where you give to a specific program or appeal, we will use your donation for that purpose. If an appeal raises more than the program needs, or if a program cannot go ahead as planned, we will use the balance for other programs meeting a similar need, and we will tell our supporters when that happens.
The text, images, video and logos on this site belong to Care for Africa, unless we say otherwise.
Some photography and video on this site was created by others and is used with permission. It remains the property of the photographer or film maker.
You are welcome to read and share our content for personal, non-commercial use. If you want to reproduce, republish or adapt anything from this site, please ask us first at info@careforafrica.org.au.
We sometimes link to other websites where we think they will be useful. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
If you follow a link away from our site, the terms and privacy policy of that site apply, not ours.
We collect personal information you give us, such as your name, email address and donation details. How we collect, use and store it is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these terms takes away any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
Subject to that, this website is provided as it is. We take care to keep the information on it accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it always will be, or that the site will always be available.
To the extent the law allows, Care for Africa is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website.
These terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia. Any dispute arising from them will be dealt with in the courts of Tasmania.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
